The face is carved in
Name, ticker, picture, one line and two links get written into the token at launch. contractURI is built from them inside the contract, so any explorer or wallet reads the coin straight from the chain. No JSON file on a server we could lose.

You keep the chisel
The launching wallet can post a mark: up to 240 characters, one every 10 minutes. Marks are dated by the block and stay there. You can pass the chisel to another wallet if you hand the coin over.

Liquidity goes under
75% of supply becomes one Uniswap v4 position, and the position NFT is minted to 0xdEaD in the same transaction. It can't be pulled by you or by us. Check the owner on any coin page.
Weather
Every stone shows how recently its author marked it. It's the quickest way to tell a coin someone is still around for from one that was left behind.

Questions
What does it cost to launch?
Gas only. There is no launch fee and you don't have to buy your own coin.
Where does the 25% go?
To the Stonecut house wallet, same as the 5% swap fee. We say it up front because most launchpads that take a cut bury it.
Can I edit the picture later?
No. The face is fixed at launch. If the image link dies the coin still has its name, ticker, line and links. Use ipfs:// if you want the picture to last.
What is "weathered"?
A stone whose chisel holder hasn't posted a mark in 7 days. It's a label, nothing more. Trading keeps working.
Can a mark be deleted?
No. Not by the author, not by us. Think before you post.
Is there a max wallet or a trading delay?
No. It is a plain v4 pool. Any router works from block one.
